Tools

GraphSight makes use of original Tools concept. According to that you may apply a set of tools to the graphical objects in a coordinate plane. The tools available in the current version of GraphSight are

  • The Trace tool for tracing y(x), x(y), polar and parametric graphs (all are parametric by nature)

  • The Fit tool to perform curve fitting routines. It can be applied to the table defined graphs only

How to apply

The common technique to apply a tool is the following. Select an appropriate graph with a mouse first. The tools applicable to the selected graph will become enabled. Navigate to the Graphics|Tools main menu item and select one of the tools to apply. In most cases you will be presented with a tool wizard dialog which will guide you through all the necessary steps of applying the tool.
